HAUSKUNFT

HAUSKUNFT (in German, this is a play on the words for “housing” and “information”) is the ideal counselling centre for building and flat owners as well as property management companies looking for optimum improvement options and customised solutions including suitable funding channels. Since October 2020, this free-of-charge, independent service point of wohnfonds_wien is at the disposal of all Viennese inhabitants planning to refurbish a property. The following services are currently available and are continuously expanded:

HAUSKUNFT is the successful outcome of the “RenoBooster” project, an EU-funded initiative to step up the housing refurbishment quota in Europe. Since 1 October 2020, HAUSKUNFT has been functioning as the central contact point for the refurbishment and renovation of rental or owner-occupied flats and multi-family dwellings in Vienna. The objective lies in rendering refurbishment projects easier and providing independent expertise to answer all questions relating to the refurbishment and renovation of residential buildings.
