WOHNPARTNER

The service institution wohnpartner – Together for a Good Neighbourhood was set up in 2010 to offer residents of Vienna’s municipal housing estates community work and professional conflict management.

Around 150 social workers, mediators and coaches support inhabitants in everyday challenges and conflicts and give them opportunities for participation, dialogue and positive interaction. wohnpartner is represented throughout Vienna with 9 neighbourhood centres that offer a varied programme. Tenants from the surrounding area independently implement their neighbourhood activities and thus create „their“ centre.

The spectrum ranges from regular meetings between residents, learning support for pupils, swap shops and flea markets to joint cooking and fitness activities.
