The Fund for Housing Construction and Urban Renewal (wohnfonds_wien) ensures high quality in subsidised housing construction and the renovation of older buildings. Its activities benefit:

Vienna’s residents,
the cityscape,
the environment,
social sustainability, and
Vienna’s overall image as an international role model in the field of housing construction.

Although structurally independent, wohnfonds_wien occupies a strong strategic and financial role within the City of Vienna. It co-ordinates project developers, property owners, municipal departments and service centres of the City of Vienna.

HAUSKUNFT is a new service point of wohnfonds_wien that co-operates closely with the City of Vienna, local enterprises and interest groups to further increase the number of high-quality housing refurbishment projects in the Austrian capital.
