Something for everyone
aspern Seestadt is one of the biggest urban development projects in Europe.This multi-stage development project to be completed in 2030 will result in high-quality dwellings for over 25,000 residents as well as about 20,000 workplaces.
About 300 companies have already decided to settle in aspern Seestadt. They include big and small enterprises, start-up companies and established players, retail outlets and industrial corporations.
No matter whether residents – who may be young couples, big families, students, senior citizens or anything in-between – choose to live in big or small condominiums or rental flats, in a student hostel or in serviced apartments – aspern Seestadt offers dwellings for all tastes. All housing units are of high quality, feature spacious balconies, terraces or private gardens and guarantee that special “holiday feeling” while yet staying at home.
Urban gardening options, swimming pools and communal areas for group activities create perfect prerequisites for communicating with neighbours and make aspern Seestadt a pleasant and welcoming neighbourhood.
Currently, over 11,000 persons live here and more than 5,000 already work in the new urban quarter. Nearly all dwellings built so far have been allocated or sold and are already inhabited. Since aspern Seestadt is steadily growing, however, new units are completed all the time, ranging from a student hostel to family homes or luxury apartments.
At the moment, the Lakeside Crescent Quarter section is being developed: North of the lake, an urban quarter with subsidised rental and owner-occupied flats as well as privately financed condominiums for a total of 2,500 inhabitants is emerging. This project section was also part of the International Building Exhibition 2022 (IBA_Vienna).

Due to its wide range of high-quality dwellings and attractive living environment, aspern Seestadt has already been honoured with several awards, mainly in the fields of architecture, climate and sustainability:
